How a fintech lender follows missed payments through recovery and legal on Beezr

A missed payment in the lending system opens a case in Beezr overnight. By morning it's assigned, with the customer's loans and history beside it, and every promise and escalation is on the record.

Collections lost the history at each handoff

The lending system held customer and credit data. Collections work sat outside it, without a shared record for agent activity. Promises and customer statuses were tracked manually.

External agencies needed coordination, and legal escalation needed the earlier collection history. Management lacked a unified view. Engineers were building the lending engine; another system would divert them.

The case needed to carry its history through every handoff.

Collections follow the case across teams: what we built

We configured the lender’s procedures first, then connected the workflows to its lending system.

The lending record opens the case

REST steps call the lending system’s APIs for customer and credit data. Missed payments trigger cases ready for assignment. The agent sees loan structures, payment schedules and transaction history alongside the case.

A promise has a due date

Agents log calls, visits and outcomes against the case. A promise to pay carries a due date and is monitored. Repeated broken promises trigger the escalation path defined in the lender’s procedures.

Agency work stays visible

Collection and legal agencies register their profiles in Beezr. Assigned cases are handled through Beezr-hosted forms, with activity recorded. That activity is monitored against the agency’s SLA.

Legal inherits the collection history

A legal escalation creates a case linked to the original collection record. Each internal team has its own views and permissions. Court interactions stay traceable back to the first collection attempt.

A day in collections now

  1. Trigger

A missed payment opens a case from the lending system’s data.

  2. Assignment

The case is routed to an agent for follow-up.

  3. Contact

The agent logs a call and a promise with its due date.

  4. Escalation

Repeated broken promises move the case along the configured recovery path.

  5. Agency

An assigned agency records its activity against the case and SLA.

  6. Outcome

The result returns through the lending system’s API.

What changed: collections history travels with the case

Automated routing reduces coordination around case assignment.

Promises remain traceable to the agents who recorded them.

Agency activity is visible against its SLA.

Legal cases retain the original collection history.

Management sees case stages and agency performance together.

Built from these parts

Core-system sync · Case management · Follow-ups and reminders · External portals · Onboarding and KYC

We connected cases, promises and agency activity around the same collection history. Smart Views and dashboards show case progression and broken-promise rates. The connection writes outcomes back.
