Financial leasing
Every product, from grace periods to bullet payments, is configuration in Beezr. When a customer asks for a top-up, the schedule is recalculated in minutes and the old version stays on record.
Each financing product combined its own terms with an interest model. Payment frequency and instalment style added more variations. The company managed these through spreadsheets and offline calculators, with a high degree of manual control.
A top-up or term extension meant recalculating the schedule. Grace periods and seasonal instalments needed their own treatment. Contracts also needed a traceable history of changes. The complexity made an off-the-shelf fit difficult and a custom build too costly.
A contract change needed a new schedule and a preserved history.
We followed the contract from its product definition through amendments and final closure.

Contracts move from initiation through approval in configured workflows. A custom function step solves the instalment that closes the balance at maturity. The schedule adjusts when financing changes, including tranches and partial disbursements.
A finance increase or term extension is entered against the contract. Its schedule recalculates, with each version remaining traceable. Late penalties and exceptions post to dedicated ledgers with their own audit trails.
The payoff calculation uses the periods already elapsed. Product rules decide whether to waive or apply a penalty. The closure workflow handles final ledger reconciliation alongside contract closure.
